The 17A (My Favourite Route)

The 17A used to be my main route to/from work and friends , but the waiting times and unreliable service made me get a car. Havnt been on a 17A in a good few months but take some photos when i get the chance. The route itself is now operated by RV class deckers so its become a bit boring. Never thought ide say this but bring back the AD,s and RH,s, and maybe a KD or two. Go on nobodys looking! ;)

Back to normal on the 104.

It seems the 104 has its normal allocation of low floor buses today, after the shock of an RA on it earlier in the week. This WV is seen outside the funeral home on the Oscar Traynor Rd.

The Front of this WV has seen better days.

Spanish Students

Its that time of year again, when we get invaded by them pests from Spain. It seems on the Northside Barretts have won the contract again to transport them around. They are using an Ex Dublin bus Merc and this coach above, looks like one of Bus Eireann,s VC class.

Bleedin Taxi!

Bleeding Taxi spoiling my shot of a RA on the lovley 130 route, right in the heart of 'Dolly Mixture' land (Clontarf). Taxi,s never around when you need one and always here when you dont!

Can you spot the Stena ferry approaching Dublin Port?

Joining Together

I see the Crown Plaza Hotel and Holiday Inn Express at Santry have joined together to provide a shuttle bus service to the Airport. Two Photos of the Ciatro below. The bus is covered in a Wrap advertising the two Hotels. Putting wraps over windows is a big no no in my books. No Matter how much you can see through them it makes the interior of the bus very dark.. creepyyyy...

Roar Like A Tiger Baby

This bus was roaring away on the 746 today. It was so bad i though ide got meself a KD. Guess the bus?????

Why its that noisy fecker from D/Brook AV398.

Old Nipper Buses

These ex Dublin Bus Imp minibuses also know as nipper buses, are turning up everywhere. This one owned by the KBR bus services. KBR has been removed and just Bus Services remains on the bus. Fond memories i had of these yellow and red mercs racing up and down Clontarf on the 130,s. Long live the nipper...

Fook, an RA on the 104.

While Irishbuses.com caught the AV on the 123, we here at Bus Scene Dublin got a rare one aswell. Ive been waiting a forever to photograph a non low floor bus on the route 104. My luck came in today as i got this RA in Finglas. Shots not the best but you get the drift..

Please note due to a technical problem, some photographs can not be enlarged. I have no idea how to fix this. If anyone knows please tell me. Cheers Wayne ;) .

Posh Bus

Look at herself on the back of the number 17A. In my opinion it suits Posh spice being on the back of a bus, because i think she has a face like one anyways! The other photo shows you what a Dublin bus is like without a megarear.

Finglas Test Centre

While driving on the Jamestown Rd its not rare to hear the sound of a car struggling to find a gear or the odd truck bumping in to something but I only found out today that Dublin bus drivers also use here. What am i talking about? , why the Finglas driver test centre of course. I dread the place knowing that I will be in there one day under the watchfull eyes of the man with the clipboard. Below: Two learner RA,s take a break at the test centre.

Irishbuses.com ... We come in peace!

Hey Irishbuses.com, we love your site, infact it was your own bus blog that gave me the idea to start my own. Your blog is the best, great reading its A1. we didnt mean to copy you as such, we could never beat your bus blog.

So folks go to irisbuses.com and check out da blog!

A rare one i tells yea!

Now heres a rare one folks, a Clontarf WV operating on double deck operated route 29A. It was a rushed shot as me was in my car. But you can bearly make out 29A on the DMD. Now all i need now is a RV/RA on the 103.

Wedding bus wannabe

Well would you look at this fella! RH46 or ex RH46 should i say looking all weddingny (such a word) is another bus that likes to intrude on my plane spotting time.

The Fingal Sisters.

These two twinnys come and go on a daily basis at my top secret planespotting location. In fact these days i think im photographing more buses than planes!

Anybody know any scandel / history on these??
One of these buses has green RH style seating but for the love of me i cant remember whick one! They even look nicer than our fridge AD class!
