In relation to the post below, I mentioned the ALX400's AV's now on the Dublin Bus Tour - Well here's the first one to enter service in Febuary 2008, AV22 seen on a 'Live Commentary Tour' - These AV's operate Multilingual Tours these days..
With most of the RA's and even alot of the RV's gone from the City streets, its really amazing to still see RH's Leyland Olympians still doing their rounds of the Dublin Bus Tour, even when there's ALX400's now operating it - RH67, in excellent condition is seen working the tour.
I wouldn't mind hiring this Wedding Bus out for my Wedding Day, I'd rather travel to the church in this..:) Clontarfs brand new Enviro 400 EV89 on Eden Quay, working the 32B to Portmarnock. Clontarf recieved EV88 and EV89 in Wedding livery, Conyngham Road recieved EV64 in Wedding livery too.
Excuse us for the lack of updates lately, but really, it is too cold and wet out there to be chasing those new VG's up & down to Lucan on the 25A, so I will leave you with a VG on the 4,taken today , Saturday 17/01/2009 - VG14 :) Seen on Burgh Quay heading to Harristown.
Harristowns AW13 made sure everyone knew what route it was operating, by using an all new 'disposable scroll' on its rear..
AW13 previously had a scroll error so the '4A' sheet was stuck to the front, side & rear of the bus, and when they fixed it, nobody thought of the sign at the rear!
